Carrot

Meet Carrot, a member of the Garden Club family. She is very fearful as you can see, as she has had minimal socialization and so is frightened of people and new experiences. She is a hound mix and about 7 months old, and just so, so sweet, but extremely shy and fearful. An understanding family is needed. Please help us get her out of the shelter and into a furever family's loving home. The Garden Club consists of a family of pups that were an owner surrender, through no fault of their/her own. Carrot clearly lacks socialization, but not the ability to give love, and begin to trust humans. We have no idea why she and her siblings are so frightened, but that should not be held against them or her. She has a love to give, we know, to the right family and her past traumas should not be held against her. There is a perfect family out there for her somewhere. She will require an understanding, patient, and loving family to help her flourish and thrive in a new loving family environment. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl, Carrot, please consider adopting her! A shelter is certainly not the place for this. This is the time for positive and joyous experiences and for her to form bonds with humans of all ages. A meet and greet is required with any other dogs in the family.
