Meet Carter, a fun, goofy little guy-about 11 pounds at 1 year old. A delightful mix of dachshund and who knows what (did you see that cute curved tail? Gets along great with the dogs in the foster home, doing great learning skills like housebreaking and is generally an easy going sweet boy. Needs a little time to warm up in the beginning but he will quickly be your lap dog with some yummy treats. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us. The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
