Meet Carter! We are still getting to know this cute little scruffy boy. At the shelter, Carter walks well on leash, is calm and curious. He has been with good with volunteers and he enjoys petting, rolls over for belly rubs and if you invite him on your lap he will go on your lap and enjoy more petting. He is a gentle treat taker. He is head shy if you try to put a slip lead over his head or remove it but you can do it. Carter needs people to understand he needs them to go slow and allow him time to trust before he allows petting. He would do best as the only animal in the home.
