Casey is an 8 year old purebred Dutch Shepherd weighing in at about 60 pounds. We cannot believe that she's 8 - she acts more like 3! She has tons of energy and even more love to give! She is insanely sweet and lovable once she is familiar with you. She is crate trained and housebroken!
Given her previous circumstances she has developed some anxiety and can be a little destructive (she takes trazodone). Her humom passed away from cancer, and we took her in. However, with plenty of exercise and stimulation she’s able to chill out and relax.
Casey enjoys going for walks, doing food puzzles, and playing fetch. She gets along with other dogs her size, but smaller dogs and cats will not be a good fit for her as she does have a prey drive in some situations.
Overall Casey is an amazing, loving dog who deserves to have an even better home.
