Meet Casper! He is a 10 month old, 40lb pittie/german shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect home! Casper may move around a little different than other pups, but in all seriousness he's just like any other pup out there! Casper was found at 12 weeks old on the side of a rural Ohio road with a spinal deformity that limits movement in his legs. Casper has full function of his body outside of the limitations of his legs. His tail is always moving 100 mph and he is fully potty trained! He sometimes uses a wheelchair to aid in muscle strengthening and to let him have freedom to roam and keep up with his besties. Casper wants nothing more in the world than to have a family that will love him, cuddle him, and play with him. Someone what will throw a tennis ball, play tug, and buy him all the nylabones he could ever want. Someone to take him for car rides, adventures, and pup cups. Despite what he has been through, Casper is the sweetest pup you could ever meet. He takes some time to open up and trust, but once you have it, your bond is inseparable. Casper is a special soul. Any one who meets him can't help but agree. Although not mandatory, Casper would benefit from a home with another confident pup and a fenced in yard. Adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
