My Story

PLEASE NOTE: WE CHECK VET REFERENCES. Cedar is a very special boy we have here with us at the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. He's been with us for awhile now, and we could really, really use your help trying to find him the perfect forever landing spot! (Please share, comment, like - it all truly helps to get Cedar seen by the right person!!) Our sweet, sugary Cedar is a beautiful boy who loves (for real... HUGE emphasis on loooooves) people!! He is about 5 yrs old and medium sized at about 50 lbs. He is always ready to play and enjoys a nice game of fetchies more than anything. He's incredibly intelligent and quick to learn new things! Cedar is even crate-trained AND house-trained (pretty amazing for us here at STLSDP as we do get a lot of pups who need help with this!). Cedar is doing well with other dogs in his foster home (both big and small, young and senior). We would recommend no dogs uner 25 lbs with Cedar. He does need a proper introduction to new dogs and a little space to get used to them. Cedar loves playing with the other dogs in foster and has become great friends with adoptable Rugby. Chase, wrestling, and going on walks together are a few of his favorite things. Cedar would also be great as a one and only dog. Cedar would not do well in a home with cats or other small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc) as he is way too interested in them. Cedar is always such a happy guy and will bring any adopter SO much love and joy. He is beyond special and has the best attitude ever! We won't stop trying when it comes to this guy. He means a whole lot to all of us here at SLSDP, and we hope that comes through in this post. Please help us find Cedar the perfect forever home. This loving boy deserves the world and then some! If you're interested in meeting Cedar, please review our adoption process and submit our dog adoption application at www.stlsdp.org
