Some days in rescue you cheer and other days you cry. The day we pulled Cere off her transport from the midwest was a day you wanted to cry. How could anyone neglect this girl like they did? She obviously was used for breeding and with her coloring I am sure they were very sought after puppies that brought in a lot of money but how can you look at her eyes and not feel even the slightest bit of guilt for not spending any of the hard earned money this girl brought in and give her some basic vetting. Enough of that crappy life!
This girl is going to be a gem but she is going to make you work for it. She is terrified but in just the few short days she has been in her foster home we have discovered she is curious and is peeking around the corner and observing all the routines. She is no longer scared to death to eat with any commotion. She LOVES other dogs and has started playing as long as no one is watching. She doesn't really want to be touched but freezes when you pick her up and will let you do almost anything to her.
