This is Chad, a 7-year-old, 70-pound boxer/lab mix. Chad is a tripod and he lost his back leg to an injury from an incident with a car many years back as a puppy. That has zero impact on his happiness or his ability to get around. Chad's story is one of perseverance and love. He waited patiently for the perfect family to welcome him into their home. He found that love and security, only to face the loss of his beloved dad. Now, Chad finds himself once again seeking a place where he can share his abundant affection and bring light into someone's life. Chad is a super-happy, very well-behaved boy. He has impeccable house manners and he is absolutely perfect in the home. As you can see, he has mastered the zen of bed and he will cheerfully collapse on the bed with you at bedtime. Chad was picked on by other dogs in his last home. He is no longer a fan of other dogs as he is pretty sure they are going to beat him up to take his lunch money and his favorite toy and he just wants to feel safe in his own home. If you want a lounging, non-judgy companion who won't raise so much as an eyebrow when you watch the latest Bridgerton flick, here you go. I can't fully explain just how awesome he is so you'll have to take me at my word. In a perfect world, he'd have a home with a fenced yard full of chaseable squirrels and no cats because in his mind, the only difference between a squirrel and a cat is a fuzzy tail. Kids past the screaming years and into the sullen teenage years are best. He is the perfect dog for lazy people who want just one dog.
