We saw Chai, on a Code Red list just one day before he was to be euthanized for space because the shelter is beyond capacity. This is not a shelter problem but a community and nationwide problem repeating itself in nearly every southern, Californian and Texas shelter.
Beautiful Chai , listed as a 10month old male GSD puppy (we think he is much younger), only had until the end of the day yesterday. We scrambled to get information and formulate a plan to get him out before his 5pm deadline. Thanks to many beautiful and caring hearts with hands and feet on the ground, we were able to save him in the nick of time! What a travesty it would have been for this happy and very friendly boy him to have lost his life.
Welcome to the good life Chai!! You are safe and loved forever now, good boy!!
