My Story

Meet Charlie, a 2.5-year-old American Staffordshire mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that remains unbroken. Weighing in at a perfect 43 pounds, Charlie is the ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate friend. Charlie’s story is one of resilience and unwavering sweetness. Left behind by his previous owners for a month when they moved, he never lost his gentle nature or his hope for a loving home. Despite his rough start, Charlie has shown nothing but pure love and trust to everyone he meets. With a gorgeous white and brindle coat, and big, soulful eyes, Charlie is not just a sight to behold but a joy to be around. He thrives on interaction and is always ready to give and receive affection. He has been in a foster home with small dogs, and adults, and he has spent time with kids ages 7-12. He has been to doggie day care play dates, where he is a staff favorite, with up to 25 medium to large size dogs and he has the best time. He loves to go on walks and meet new people and dogs. He is learning his leash manners and is very treat responsive. Charlie’s ideal home would be one where he can receive plenty of love and attention where he has people and/or dogs to play and snuggle with. He is house and crate trained. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, look no further than Charlie.
