Chatter

Chatter is a 2.5 year old miniature American Shepherd which many people refer to as a mini Aussie. She is full grown at 18.3 pounds and is a very sweet yet cautious girl. It takes her a minute to warm up, but when she does, she is very sweet. In her former life she was able to go in and out through a doggie door and never really had the need to be on a leash, so we are having to work on remedial leash training. She would do best in a low-key home without a lot of commotion and loud noise as she is a laid back gal. Additionally we would not recommend her around small children as if she was cornered, stepped on, hair pulled, etc. it may cause her to snap. In her foster home all is going great as we respect the fact she is timid, are slow and sweet in the interactions we have with her and she is responding very well. She has also been great at the 3 times she has been to the vet being handled by various people. She is very smart and takes in everything she sees, hears and smells.
