CHEDDAR (Neutered!)

CHEDDAR is a stunning yellow lab! Wouldn’t you agree? He is listed as 2 to 3 years of age and his weight at Intake was 62 pounds. His arrival at the shelter was in late May 2024 and he arrived with another dog that also is available for adoption. He has the sweetest most wonderful smile and a docked tail. To meet this handsome boy, serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, CHEDDAR was neutered on Thursday, August 1, 2024. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt CHEDDAR. And why wouldn’t you! Even better, take a large dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
