He's a dog tester, a valuable asset to the shelter, helping us understand the temperaments of other dogs. Despite his playful nature, Cheerio has a calm demeanor that makes him the perfect companion. Cheerio's $275 adoption fee includes neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, VT, GA, and TN. A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions.
