Cheezit

CHEEZIT is a small mix of some kind (labbish?) with some radar quality ears who is only ~6 months old and just under 25 lbs. She'll be small and not much over 25 lbs as an adult. We don’t know what to say about breed mixes and she seems to be a mix of a lot. She's smaller than a lab or any of the other mixes we can see, but we can see some maybe corgi because she’s sort of long and low and those corgi radar ears… maybe a little terrier with her strong jawline, and who knows what else. We’d be interested to see what her mix comes up if her adopter has her tested, for sure! Her foster reports she is very friendly towards all the people she has met so far - and has children and does okay with them too! She is working on potty training, doing well with only a few inside accidents, but has not gone potty in her crate! On walks, she does well on a leash with minimal pulling. She likes to stop and watch the birds and other small animals, but her foster says she is doing well with redirection. She is a very smart, and playful pup and is ready to meet her forever family! (We're getting her spayed but it's included in her adoption fee at our vet if she happens to be adopted before that happens) Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
