Meet Chelsea, a precious 5 month old black mouth cur mix who we hope will become the newest member of your family! Chelsea is the result of a major problem we have in the South of too many people not spaying and neutering their pets. Her mom was a roaming neighborhood dog who got pregnant and gave birth to EIGHT puppies! Thanks to a compassionate foster mom, all eight puppies have been cared for with love since birth, and now it's Chelsea's turn to find her forever family. Chelsea embodies the best qualities of her breed—friendly, eager to please, and incredibly loyal. She's wonderful with kids and other dogs, making her a fantastic addition to any family. While she hasn't been tested with cats yet, we're happy to assess her compatibility if needed. Chelsea's current outdoor living situation in the Mississippi heat has been challenging, and she dreams of having some new digs and future days filled with love and comfort. We conduct virtual meet and greets for out-of-town applicants and offer transport (the adoption fee includes transport to your location) to many neighboring and northeastern states. At this time we are not able to transport into Massachusetts and Rhode Island. **We cannot guarantee breed mix or size once full grown. We make our best guess on breed based on any known family history and observable characteristics. We also do not know how big this puppy will grow. All eight siblings are quite large for 5 months, so we expect them to be BIG and could easily grow well over 60lbs.
