Meet Chenoa! Chenoa is an approx 4 year old female dog who was rescued from a hoarding situation out of Pasco county with 26 other animals - she is very shy and probably considered feral.
Chenoa is NOT aggressive at all, in fact- she is scared and needs to learn how to be a loving member of a family. She never barks or makes any noise to be honest. She loves her toys and is a gentle scared girl, often running from you but also wanting so much to interact with you.
We are in need of a special foster to adopt home or foster home with someone able to help with working with her to become a loving member of a family. Chenoa currently lives in a home with other dogs and often runs around the yard- she uses a doggie door to go outside, and will sleep with her dog friends. She is very sweet and just not very affectionate with people at this time, but could use a patient family/foster to help her become a loving member of the family.
The ideal home for Chenoa is with someone who has a secured tall, fenced in yard- as Chenoa loves to run around outside in the yard, but also loves to be free running around inside. Chenoa is not destructive. She also needs a home with someone who has the time and patience to work with her! Chenoa does not currently walk on a leash, but is 100% potty trained and goes out of a doggie door.
Vet references and home visit required.
