My Story

Cherry was picked up by animal control in a rural town because she was wandering alone on the side of the road. She was going to be euthanized due to a lack of space at the shelter. Our volunteers met her on her last day and couldn’t leave her behind. She was immediately sweet and showed us that she’s a good girl. Thankfully, a foster took her in so we were able to save her life. Cherry has been with her foster for a month while we completed her veterinary care, and now she’s ready to find a forever home. Cherry is a very smart girl. She has learned how to be a great house dog and has good manners. She is a calm dog and likes to please her people. She gets along with dogs of any size and just wants to be friends. Cherry is crate trained, leash trained and house trained. She weighs 56 pounds and she is 1 and 1/2 years old. She has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped and current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. Cherry will arrive in the Pacific Northwest on 8/10.
