Chessie

Chesapeake Bay may have its own "Chessie", America's version of Nessie, the Loch Ness monster, but this all-American girl is nothing scary. In fact, she's a bit scared herself and would love to find someone who can help her become the confident girl she should be. With her beautiful, curly coat and pretty pink-brown nose, Chessie is a lovely girl who is learning how to "dog". She's not sure about canine friends so would like to meet potential fur-siblings before going home. She's been shy but happy with people she's been meeting at the shelter and is learning that treats are pretty great! So far, she's been walking nicely on the leash and happily leaning in on her walking pals, showing her appreciation for affection with lots of tail wags! Come meet this all-American Chessie today! Chessie is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
