Chester

Chester is an 11 week old male chihuahua/corgi mix puppy and he weighs about 5 pounds. Chester is still growing, but we expect him to stay under 25 pounds full grown, but we can’t promise that. Chester arrived in rescue after his mom was rescued from a home with too many dogs and was not being cared for. He has been raised in a loving foster home since he was born. He is an active puppy that will need a family up for all things puppyhood brings - leash training, house training, socialization and learning that flip flops are for feet, not food:) His foster mom says: Chester is a sweet boy. You can see the chihuahua side of his personality in that he can be a bit dramatic. He likes to howl sometimes, which is the corgi side coming through. He will also “talk” to you, so a home without shared walls will be best for him. He is a very social guy and loves to play with the other pups and with his toys. He will also snuggle some and then go right back to playing! He would love a home with older, dog savvy children who are gentle and kind. As he is still young and small, a family with someone who is home more than away is also optimal. Chester is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Chester is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $400.
