Hi there! I’m Chevy and I need a new home. You see, I was adopted as a little puppy when I was just 6 weeks old, but since then, I’ve been growing and growing. I’m now about 1-1/2 years old and have reached 80 pounds so my family says they can’t keep me anymore. This makes me sad because I try to be a good boy. I so hope that someone out there will want to give a big dog like me a place to hang my leash forever. What can I tell you about me? They say I’m a chocolate lab mix. I guess I must have a large breed in my mix because of how big I’ve grown. I am a happy and healthy boy and I love everyone and everything I meet...people, kids, dogs, cats – you name it, I like ‘em! I am house trained and crate trained. I’m do well on my leash training but I pull some once in a while so I need a little more practice. I still have plenty of puppy playfulness at my age and I admit that when my excitement gets the better of me, I sometimes jump up to greet grownup humans, but I’m trying my best to learn not to do that. I know I’ll improve with the help of a nice experienced family. I would love a home where I will get lots of walks and exercise to use up my energy. A big yard and with room to run and play would be great!. You’ll be glad to know that I’ve been neutered and I’m up to date with all my shots. I also have a cool thing called a micro-chip. I sure will miss my family, but I’m getting excited to meet my new one who will make me theirs forever. I may not be perfect yet, but I hope you’ll think I’m perfect for you.
