Chevy came in as a stray, and he came in with kind of a rap sheet. For example, he might have a bit of heeler in him... and maybe he had a bad habit of herding kids down the street. Chevy was also not super excited to meet us and be apprehended and brought into the shelter. We were not expecting to fall in love with this dude, but boy did he lay on the charm!! It became obvious that if Chevy was in a nurturing home with secure fencing, he would've never gotten into trouble in the first place. Since he's been here, Chevy has been a doll with volunteers and staff alike! He's also a big fan of female dogs, and plays nicely with his girlfriends here. We are looking for his future home to be a safe environment for him and his new family. Because of his chasing and herding behavior, he would be better in a home without cats and small kiddos.
