My name is Chew, and I am definitely a treat! If you love snuggling, cuddling, and having a little lap dog shadow, I am the fluffy lovebug for you. My favorite place to be is in your arms, and I love hanging out with my human and dog friends. I also do fine with kids, but I think I prefer them a little older; I am generally pretty low energy so if kiddos get too playful I will go find a quiet place to relax away from them. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I have a feeling we would get along just fine since I am not a wild and crazy guy. I am already potty trained, I walk pretty well on a leash, and I try to have excellent house manners and don’t get into anything I shouldn’t while my humans are away. I am not a fan of a crate and will cry while in one, so if you have to leave the house for a while, I would prefer a dog bed set up in a bedroom or small fenced off area of our house.
