Hi there! I'm Chewy, a 3-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a nose for adventure and a heart full of love. My favorite song is "Hound Dog" by Elvis, and just like the song, I ain't nothin' but a hound dog! I've lived peacefully with both dogs and cats, but I prefer to have my food all to myself.
I've got a bit of a flighty history, so a secure fence would be perfect to keep me safe while I explore. My hound nose is always busy sniffing out new adventures, but when I'm not on a scent trail, I'm a total couch potato. Snuggles and pets are my favorite, and I love curling up in a comfy dog bed to dream about sniffing out moles and squirrels. I'm an old soul just looking for my forever home. Could that be with you?
