Chia

This 3 year old beauty is Chia. She's a mixed breed and weighs about 25 pounds. Chia is a sweet and polite little lady. She is so gentle when she takes treats and she barely barks! Chia gracefully roams around the yard and almost tippy toes through the house. She is great with the other dogs in her foster home and loved playing with one of the big puppies there. Chia is also very cat friendly. We do believe she would be ok with older children but do not believe she's every lived or been with any. She is a little bit nervous and will take a little time to warm up, but once she does Chia's a real love! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications! 2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better. 3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.) 4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees!
