Chickpea

Meet Chickpea, a delightful and smart dog with a playful and active personality. Chickpea currently resides in a foster home where she coexists peacefully with a cat, ignoring her feline companion and continuing with her activities. She's well-behaved when left alone, free-roaming the house and lounging on the couch or her bed. Chickpea is fully house-trained, going outside twice a day and quickly doing her business. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate. Her leash manners are excellent, and she's always eager to go for a walk. Chickpea knows basic obedience commands like sit and stay, especially when there's a golf outing involved! Affectionate and eager for human interaction, Chickpea often pushes her head under her foster parent's hand for pets and enjoys cuddling on the couch. However, she is cautious around new people, especially men. While she warms up to women with the help of treats, her fear of men requires a patient and understanding approach. Chickpea's ideal day includes walks, playing fetch, chewing on toys, and snuggling on the couch. She loves to explore new scents, stick her head out of car windows, and inspect the washing machine.
