Meet Libby! She's a 5-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who weighs 16 lbs. Her adoption fee is $400. She was recently surrendered by her owner who couldn't keep her in an apartment. Before that, her original owner had died and she was put in a Kansas dog shelter.
Libby is very sweet and loving to (almost) everyone she meets. So far, she is scared of men and big dogs and will growl and bark. After a couple of weeks in foster care, she's a big fan of her foster dad and (after briefly barking) begs for attention as soon as he walks in the door.
She loves to play fetch, go on walks, and is potty trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night at her foster home, but would prefer to snuggle in bed next to her forever owners.
A fenced in yard would be great, but not required. She also gets pretty jealous when other animals are given attention so she will need training with that.
Please consider giving this sweet girl a chance.
