China is a stunning 1 yr old, 80 lb, Shepherd mix with a silky, soft coat that's as delightful as her personality. Her journey to becoming the amazing companion she is today began in a shelter, where her friendly and social nature made her the go-to dog for evaluating the friendliness of other canines. Her warm heart and sociable demeanor truly set her apart. After joining us, she entered into the Pups for Paroles program, where China underwent 12 weeks of dedicated training . She's mastered a variety of commands, including "sit," "down," "stay," and more, making her a well-behaved and obedient girl. She is a young girl, so she isn't perfect with these commands, but she does aim to please. She is still learning to walk calmly on a leash . She does well most of the time, but sometimes a squirrel or rabbit sighting gets the best of her. China adores playing fetch. She enjoys zoomies and wrestles with other dogs. She also enjoys following her humans around, always curious and eager to be involved in whatever's happening. However, while she's generally gentle and aware of her size, caution is advised around small children, as she might forget she's a big girl during her enthusiastic moments . China has proven to be reliable with a 4-foot fence while on lead , but for her safety and to keep her secure, a taller fence may be necessary if she's left outside alone . She's not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is necessary. With her beautiful appearance and loving heart, China is ready to bring joy and companionship to a family that will appreciate her charm and energy. China's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
