Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Introducing Chip! If you're looking for a big, cuddly teddy bear of a dog, Chip is your guy! He's a large cocker spaniel, estimated to be between 5 and 7 years old, and he's known for his gentle and affectionate nature. Though he came from a puppy mill, he's thankfully free from the typical timidity of mill dogs. Chip gets along with everyone—other dogs, cats, and kids—and he's happiest when he's following his humans around, making his adorable "piggy" noises. This friendly pup is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night without a single complaint. Chip is highly food-motivated, which makes him easy to train and a joy to be around. He would be a wonderful addition to any family, but he does need the companionship of at least one other dog for his general happiness. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
