06/19/24 12:43 Foster Reports: Chiquita has been enjoying the warm weather with visits to the park and long walks around the neighborhood. She walks well on a leash and is very good about checking in with me often. We have been working on her interest in other people and dogs on walks. Shes highly food motivated and has been doing well with redirection. She now walks easily past humans and is showing good progress with dogs. I am always impressed with how quickly she learns new things. Chiquita does have a prey drive with a high interest in squirrels and cats, so she would probably do best in a home without cats. She loves to chew on toys and is eager to play with her foster sibling. I believe she could do well as an only dog or with a dog sibling to run around with. Chiquita is such a sweet soul and the ultimate cuddle bug who loves lots of snuggles and belly rubs. If youre looking for a loyal and loving companion whos eager to learn, shes your girl!
