My Story

Meet Chloe Grace! We rescued Chloe Grace from the San Diego Humane Society in April 2021, and she was adopted soon afterwards and renamed Mochi. For three years, we received wonderful updates from her family, but sadly, she was recently returned to us due to no fault of her own. Chloe Grace is now 10 years, but she is still as sweet as can be. She is a very friendly girl who wants to be every human's best friend and loves attention. She'll reach up to you with those long legs of hers and beg for kisses or some ear scratches. Happily, the day after Chloe Grace was returned, she was scooped up for a two-week Frosted Fling that has since been extended. We are so glad she is getting lots of TLC in a loving foster home! Chloe's Fling Family has taken her along with their dogs on many adventures from the beach to the mountains, and everywhere in between! She is always well-behaved, friendly to every person she meets, and loves riding in the car. Chloe gets so excited when they are getting ready to leave the house and lays in her dog bed or looks out the window during the drive. We received a great report from her Fling Mom: "Chloe has been such a pleasure to have as a foster. She's so loving to every person in the house, is very well-behaved, and is a great companion. To know her is to love her! Here's what we've learned about Chloe the past 3 weeks: - We have yet to hear her bark, even when our other dogs are barking - When it's mealtime, Chloe is one of the first in line. She's a good eater and cleans her dish every time. - Chloe is house-trained. She lets us know she has to use the bathroom the by going to the back door. - Speaking of night, Chloe is also a great sleeper. She mostly sleeps in a dog bed next to ours but has occasionally jumped on the bed with us. She sleeps or stays in bed until we get up to start the day. - We have heard that in the past Chloe exhibited separation anxiety, but we have not come across that yet. The longest we left her alone with the other dogs is 5 hours. We checked in often on the cameras, and everyone was fine. - Chloe seems to really enjoy the company of her foster fur siblings. She's laying with them more and more and often follows them around the yard. When we are out and about, Chloe wants to say hello to every dog we see. I think she'd love a forever home that has another dog or dogs. She gets along with our cats, too! Chloe Grace is still looking for a forever home where she can settle in and live out her golden years surrounded by love. She's so deserving!" Does Chloe Grace is ready for a forever home! Might it be with you?
