***Currently located in Guadalajara, Mexico*** Hello, my name is Chocolate. But so far life hasn't been very sweet. Many months ago I found myself on the streets. Here in Mexico, many people are not kind to those of us without homes. I suffered abuse from both humans as well as the other street dogs. Life can be tough here. Despite being bigger than most of the other dogs, I refused to fight back. Luckily for me I was brought to a shelter, and though I've heard it isn't the best life, it's still better than where I was. Despite my past, I get along with humans of all shapes and sizes, even the little ones. They say I am a gentle giant and that I have a noble nature. I enjoy playing with the other dogs and get along well with everyone. I've heard from my friends at the shelter that the best place you can end up is in a home with a family. Every day I wake up hoping this is the day I find mine. I mean, who doesn't want a bit of chocolate in their life? If you adopt me, I promise to sweeten every day!
