Chopper Joe

I'm Chopper Joe and I am such a handsome boy, but very skittish! I was surrendered to an amazing rescue with my friend and he was adopted - happy for him and totally okay being separated. I was adopted once, but returned after being bitey and not settling in. My foster mom has been working with me and she says that I am still pretty skittish, but becoming more brave everyday. I won't let her pick me up, or pet me very often, but I'm learning that those things aren't so bad. I will run up to her and give her hand kisses, steal her warm spot on the sofa, and take treats and food from her hand. My ideal home is safe and secure with a fenced in yard, no kids, and patient parents that understand I am still a work in progress. I like other dogs, but don't have to have a dog friend. I haven't met a cat yet, but maybe they would be cool.
