Chunk

This smart little girl is Chunk, and she wants nothing more than to be held and loved and petted at all times! This sweet girl loves people and she does well with other dogs, after proper slow introduction. After a little adjustment, she will do great with other small dogs, but she really prefers being the love of your lap! Chunk is food motivated and trainable - she learned to sit so quickly in her foster home! She is eager to please and will happily learn the routines of your home! Chunk was found to be heartworm positive and has begun her treatment. Her adoption will include a contract addendum that requires completion of that treatment, cost covered by the rescue. She also has a tail injury (or poorly done crop) that does not seem to bother her, but will require monitoring to ensure her comfort. Chunk is about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She will be ready for her forever home after 8/8!
