My name is Chynna and I am the coolest dog at Almost Home! I weigh 40 pounds & appx 10 months old, I am thin built, long legged and have one blue/one brown eye! I was rescued from a local animal control facility. I have no idea how I ended up there and why no one came looking for me!
I am going to be the perfect dog for the right person. I am still young and have puppy energy. I would be perfect for agility, obedience or a running partner. I need someone who wants to teach me things and provide me with exercise and toys. Oh- speaking of toys, I LOVE chew toys and tennis balls! I will fetch as long as your throwing arm holds out! I like other dogs but probably should not go to a home with a small dog- sometimes I think they are a toy and the little dogs are not amused with me! A very playful, energetic dog pal would be perfect!
I am using the doggie door at my foster home with no accidents! If you have a doggie door, I would love that. I go outside and run as fast as I can in pure happiness and joy for life! So, a fenced yard is a really good idea.

Chynna is spayed, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested. Her adoption donation is $95. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.
Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.
We do not ship our dogs.
