My foster family calls me Cindy or Sweetie because of what a sweetheart I am. I immediately warm up to new people that I meet. I will go outside and play with my humans and other dogs, or I will sit and cuddle up next to them on the couch. I am such a lover and I can hangout with people all day. Since I was a reservation dog, I now enjoy being inside with everyone. I would do well in a house with other dogs or with only people! Either one works for me. I love being with my toddler, foster human, and sometimes I like to follow him around on his adventures. I can be left out in the house during the day while my people are at work, but I also do well being crated if need be. Now that I have been shown love, I have started to show a little bit of resource guarding. I love my dog foster siblings and enjoy playing with them, but sometimes I get a little protective of my people and food. I do best eating in a separate location from my doggy friends. We are currently working on resource guarding and are showing a lot of progress with patience and positive reinforcement. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can't be 100% sure of a dog's breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can't be 100% sure of a dog's age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
