Claire is a medium-size Pit Bull terrier mix who weighs 40 pounds. Claire can be a bit shy when meeting new people; she may take a moment to trust someone she's just being introduced to. Once she's comfortable with you, she's the most loyal and loving sweetheart ever! Claire totally surprises us with how smart she is, she knows every trick - even how to spin for a treat! Claire can live in a home with other dogs. She will require a home without young children, as she feels most comfortable with people who know to give her her space when she's feeling overwhelmed. Claire has had multiple vet visits for a fungal skin infection upon coming to us as a stray, and is just about done with her treatment. She tested positive for Anaplasmosis upon intake at PCAS, and has already begun treatment. Claire is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home.
