Claire

Claire is a 3 1/2 year old girl who may have only days to live unless I can help find a new human companion for her.. This is because her rescuer received an ultimatum by a landlord that either Claire goes or the rescuer faces losing her home. Claire was rescued 10 months ago from a homeless person who starved and abused her, and despite this she still loves humans. She cannot, however, be trusted with other animals and that's what puts her at risk for being destroyed at a shelter if they would even take her. Claire loves to ride in the car, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands like sit, sit pretty and lay down, and is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, housetrained and crate trained. What she needs is a human who is experienced with larger sized dogs, better yet if her human has experience with pitbull breeds, and has a stable, secure and peaceful environment with a secure yard. Claire will reward the person who qualifies to save her life with affection and protection.
