Claire

Claire is a 1 year old Chihuahua mix girl. She's full of life and loves attention. She gets along great with other dogs but also likes to chill out in her human's lap. She would love to have a home with another dog of similar size but it's not necessary. I cannot promise dogs are 100% house trained. They live in a foster home with several other dogs and it's hard to know who exactly is 100% trained and who needs a little work. They are all trainable with some one-on-one training. They are not leash trained as they are used to a large backyard. My adoption process is to take applications, check vet references and talk to your landlord, if you rent, to make sure you can have a pet (If you own, I do check records to make sure). Once an application is approved, I set up a meet and greet at your home so I can see where they will be living and see if you have a secure yard. If they is a fit for your family, they would stay with you. If not, they would come back with me. You must live within about an hour of Hempstead, TX.
