Claire is a Courtesy Listing and not a Heart Animal Rescue intake. Her rehoming process will be done through the individual who is caring for her.
Claire is the sweetest of dogs. She is approx. 2 year old Staffy mix. Little Miss Claire Berry was pulled from the euthanasia room in San Antonio Texas where they were sedating her already and getting ready to end her happy little life! She is a bundle of JOY! She has lots of playful energy and when she is done romping and running she has lots of sleeping cuddle power. She is ok with cats, great with kids and wonderful with other dogs. She loves everyone! She will food guard so we feed her separately. She also will escape the backyard if given the opportunity but she would do great with a good secure fenced in yard and with a family who will love her! She does ok on the leash but could use some work- she is a happy learner she just needs time. She has not had any messes in the home since rescue, however she is taken out pretty frequently. Claire would love and thrive in a family where she can pour all kinds of extra love on everyone! She is absolutely thrilled to be alive and can't wait to share her joy for life with you!
