Crate trained: Yes, he has done well in his crate when home alone and overnight Leash walking: Doing well overall, though can sometimes pull when he sees a squirrel Dog social: He has seemed friendly when passing other dogs on walks, and was known as a playgroup rockstar at his prior shelter! Cat social: He lives with 3 cats in his foster home and has been doing relatively well after a slow, proper intro period but is a playful kid who is best matched with confident, dog-savvy cats. Kid friendly: He has seemed friendly in brief interactions with calm older kids on walks. He is better suited to kids 12+, given his size and excitability. Clarence likes: - Flopping his entire body on top of you and gazing into your eyes, awaiting belly rubs and praise - Burning off energy with play sessions and puzzle toys - Going for walks and hearing neighbors compliment his cuteness Clarence is such a sweet, affectionate, and silly boy who loves people and thrives when he has plenty of activity and playtime each day. He is an exuberant adolescent who loves to play and play hard, and he can become mouthy (play bite) and jumpy when overly excited. He would appreciate an adopter who can help him channel his energy in positive ways, like working on a puzzle toy or stuffed Kong. He seems unaware of his size and loves to play hard, so is better suited to older kids (12+) for this reason.
