My Story

Clark Kent French Bulldog 1.5 Years Old, 28lbs Dogs, Cats, kids Good with everyone & everything! This adorable little lemon could technically be classified as special needs. His front left paw has a deformity, a curvature. However, this kid does not miss a beat! His uniquely shaped leg has no effect on his ability to run, play, eat, walk, etc. In fact, he is completely unphased and unaware that his leg is anything different from the others. This little man is the most adorable, the most sweet and the most hilarious little goofball we have, but he’s also very humble. Sure, he exudes that Frenchie confidence, but he’s a very sensitive and sweet boy. In fact, this kid is so incredible that we felt he deserved nothing short of a super hero title. With that; we give your Clark Kent! He’s the awesome everything dog. He loves car rides, and he’s a very good boy on the road. He’s also a perfect gentleman at all of his veterinary appointments. The doctors and technicians rave about the ease in which they examine him, take blood, and all those other pesky things that dogs typically aren’t so crazy about. Clark loves going on walks and enjoys meeting everyone along the way! He really loves doing anything outdoors. That being said, he’s quite the professional snuggler inside, and turns into a perfect couch potato on movie night! We cannot stress enough how much Clark loves life, the world and everything in it! He absolutely goes nuts for puppies. He adores puppies!! He would play all day with them if given the chance. He’s fantastic with adult dogs as well. We’ve introduced him to female dogs & male dogs of a variety of ages. He’s even good with cats! Clark Kent is fully vetted, which also included getting a rhinoplasty procedure(this is when they expand the nares (nostrils) of a dog to increase air flow & oxygen intake). Having the nostrils widened is a common recommendation for most French Bulldogs and other brachiocephalic breeds. Clark’s nostrils measured at 1.5mm prior to surgery and are now both over 5.0mm wide! As you can probably imagine, that’s a huge improvement. It will aid in stronger lungs, increased energy and strength and less likeliness of getting respiratory illnesses throughout his entire life. Even though Rhinoplasty is not typically a surgery that is performed in rescue, we decided Clark was well worth it! We wanted to do everything possible to ensure this little super hero gets to live his best life ever! *Superhero cape not included.
