Calling all farmers!! This beauty of a heeler mix is 4.5yr old Claudia! She is such a good girl, walks well on leash and knows several commands. She did fabulous with the couple of dogs that her finder had and has been in a couple of groups with other dogs here at the shelter as well. She doesn't seem to be much of a player with other dogs, just likes the company. We haven't gotten to see her around kids or cats yet but than can easily be done. The finder told us that while they had her she definitely showed herding tendencies. Adoption fee is $175 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we'd like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog.
