? CLEOPATRA ? BREED: Chihuahua/MinPin blend (best guess) AGE: 3 years WEIGHT: 8 pounds Cleopatra is the ultimate Velcro-dog and only wants to be snuggled up to her human. She loves to be wedged against her human with her belly exposed. She is very timid and nervous when first getting to know new people and will need a person who is gentle and patient. She prefers women and would do best in a quiet, female-only, home. Cleopatra came to us very overweight and has made great progress getting closer to a healthy weight. LIKES: Affection, snuggling, napping (she can snore loudly ?) being with her person, rolling on the grass, walks, and treats. Taking toys and hiding them. DISLIKES: Being crated, being left alone, unknown people. PERSONALITY TRAITS: When she wants your attention, Cleopatra can be very vocal with little whimpers, whines and an occasional bark. She can be underfoot and will follow you everywhere. She has tolerated the dogs in her foster home, though would probably prefer to be the only pup getting all the attention. POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Goes potty outside consistently, however Cleopatra will piddle when reached for to be picked up. This has improved while residing in foster care, and as she gets comfortable with her new person/home this likely will not be a long-term issue. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: She is not a fan of the crate but will eventually settle. EXTRAS/MISC.: She likes to investigate if she can get under the porch and shed in her foster’s backyard - so her new home MUST have a secure yard to mitigate any flight risk.
