To meet Clifford is to meet an old friend, he brings with him that sense of comfort and loyalty you know you can rely on. At 6 years old, he is a gentleman, knows how to walk on a leash, to sit, to lay down and of course how to shake your hand hello. His previous owners 'rescued' him 5 years ago from his first family who said they didn't have time for him, only to now say the same thing. Six months ago he was diagnosed with lupus, although the test results are not 100% conclusive. Lupus is manageable with the right treatment, and the return on investment is a fantastic dog whose only other requirement is to love him the way he will promise to love you. He is an excellent snuggler, he loves the company of other dogs, he may bark when the doorbell rings, but he is always a good host..
