Clover

Clover was a flower puppy that came to us from a kill shelter in AL. Her mom gave birth to the puppies in the shelter and when old enough they traveled to WI. Clover was adopted as a puppy and the owners contacted us that they feel they cant give Clover what she needs and they are returning her. Clover is about 2 yrs young. She is about 50# and housetrained and crate trained. She has energy but the owners admit they dont exercise her. She would do great with a fenced yard or someone that will commit to walking her. She doesnt do well on the leash - pulls alot - but this is because she isnt walked in her current home. She need a committed adopter that will exercise her and she will be a wonderful family dog! She does need a feline free home as she will chase rabbits, squirrels and cats. She is good with male dogs and prefers dogs that are calm and submissive. Clover does have a more dominant personality. She is smart and does know basic commands -but can also be stubborn when it comes times to learning. So a home with a patient owner is a must. She has lived with kids age 8 yrs and up. She has been around smaller childen in a supervised setting, but she does jump up so she could knock over littles until she learns that jumping behavior is not acceptable. Clover is a very sweet, gorgeous gal that just needs someone to teach her how to walk on a leash, exercise her and she will be a great part to any family.
