Hi, my name is Clover! If you’re looking for a loyal companion and furry friend, that’s me! I'm a small 30 pound shepherd with a heart of gold and a coat of awesomeness. When I'm not busy being adorable, I enjoy activities like chasing squirrels, fetching, and giving high-paws. My superpowers include the ability to detect treats from a distance, hearing the fridge open from a mile away, and providing comfort cuddles on demand.  I am a little over a year old, dog and kid friendly, heart worm negative and fully vaccinated. My humans say I'm the goodest girl in the world, and I intend to keep it that way. Woof! The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information. 2024 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals: Puppies under 12 months - $350 Dogs over 12 months - $250 *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
