Please welcome Clover to our rescue group. Clover was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter. No one came to claim her as their own, and she was transferred to Shelter to Home's foster care program as she was in need of further training and socialization.
Clover is approximately 10 months old (as of the end of August), and around 45 lbs. Her foster home is working with her to better socialize her to new situations, basic obedience training, and housetraining. Clover has excelled on the "heel" and "sit" commands, but still needs further work to "come" when called. Clover will need to be adopted into a family with at least one other social and well-mannered dog to continue to teach her proper behavior. (Clover LOVES other dogs, and is great with cats!) In addition, she will require an experienced dog owner who has knowledge and experience handling shy dogs. She is very shy around strangers and new situations. Loud noises scare her, so a home without children would be ideal.
A fully-fenced yard will be required for this energetic pup.
Clover has received the following veterinary care while in the rescue program: spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea prevention, heart-worm prevention, etc. Her required adoption donation is $250 to help cover the costs of her care to date.
To request an adoption application, please contact Clover's foster home in Livonia, directly at: [email protected] . Please note: We DO NOT ship our animals. To ensure a good fit for adoption, a home visit will be part of the adoption process. Therefore, you must live in or around the Metro Detroit area.
Thank you for your interest in a homeless animal
