Clyde

Clyde is a 1 year old Havanese mix looking for a patient furever home. He has been shaved down due to severe matting but once his fur grows back, he will be stunning! Clyde is generally happy-go-lucky once he feels comfortable, but he does take time to get there in new environments. He had a pretty rough start, but is now playing like the puppy he is. He is still learning to trust humans, but is sweet and gentle with zero aggression and has a silly, playful personality once he lets you in. His new family should know that nothing will win him over except for time, patience, and another dog. Clyde flourishes around dogs and would love a sibling that wants to romp and play just as much as he does. He loves treats, peanut butter, and squeaky toys, but it even took him time to understand he could enjoy them. He will need someone willing to work on training typical puppy traits and ideally a family that is home often while he is still learning house manners. He's a smart boy, but needs some structure and stability. A fenced-in yard is required since Clyde loves to explore (and leashes seem to be traumatic for him).
