Coco is approx. 6 1/2 years old in these pictures taken November 19, 2005. She has put on a little more weight now. Coco enjoys spending time with people, going for walks, and is very loving. Poor girl has been at the shelter since 2002 (over 5 years now) and was about a year old when she came in. This hasn't dampened her spirit any as she loves everyone and is always happy. Coco is about 12 - 13 inches tall from the ground to her shoulders. She is just a love bug who would be a wonderful loving companion and who would snuggle with you.
March 17 - UPDATE: Coco was a hit with the Girl Scouts of Troop 48 that came to the shelter with their fathers on March 17. Several of the girls took turns walking her and giving her treats. She was a very happy girl getting all of that attention.
We do not know if she is housetrained or if she likes cats. We believe that she would be fine with young children as she has never shown any aggression towards anyone and is so very loving. We had a couple and their 11 month old some come to the shelter, and Coco just sniffed the baby and went on her way. Like 99% of the animals at the shelter, she was picked up as a stray off the street.
