COCO is: a delight. 3 days in and I feel she is 100% enthusiastic about life and people. She is eager to learn. She seems mostly grown up, with the occasional puppy mouthing and jumping up to say hi first thing upon seeing you in the morning or when you return. She is adapting her behavior to eliminate those times. A simple squirt with a spray bottle goes a long way towards correction}. Her owner spent time training her to be housebroken, crate trained and how to walk perfectly on leash. She acts like a big girl in public, not reactive to other people or dogs. She cruises past without any fuss. She will settle wherever you are, til you are ready to go. She knows basic commands and will execute. A little obedience training will make her perfect. COCO Loves People! She likes to be near and will cuddle sometimes playfully. She is food motivated, so easier to train or manuever inhome. She is medium to high energy, looking to be kept mentally busy also. She will alternate in and out of a crate when you need her to without much fuss. Toss a few pieces of kibble, tell her she is good. She does still need to learn in house boundaries (what to and not to chew on....watch your shoes...) She will benefit from an experienced dog owner who will guide her through her next months. The sooner she gets a Forever Home, the better. She deserves a good life.
